The structures we create—our institutions, policies, workplaces, and educational environments—shape not only how care is delivered, but whether it can be practiced consistently and experienced with dignity.
When care depends solely on individuals’ goodwill or resilience, it remains fragile. Sustainable care must be intentionally built into the systems that support everyday life.
This work considers care across healthcare, education, organizations, and public policy. It asks not only how individuals practice care, but how systems can be designed to make dignified, equitable, and human-centered care possible.
Care is not an outcome of well-intentioned people alone.
